Some apps are distributed as Split APKs (multiple .apk files packaged together) to optimize resources. Standard Android installers cannot open them.
BREAKING NEWS! You’ll never guess what we’ve updated in your app.
(No, really... That was pretty serious. You probably won’t guess it because it’s not visible. But you might find that we’ve fixed a couple of bugs, and we do find that breaking news worthy!)
Hi, I’m MobilePay! A very, very easy app for transferring money between people and paying to businesses. Sending money is safe and done in a flash, just the way it should be.
With MobilePay, you can:
* send and request money
* receive money
* schedule money gifts
* pay online, in-store and to organisations
* set up recurring payments
* create settlements in a group
* collect money with box
To use MobilePay you need to be at least 15 years old and have a Finnish personal identity number, a Finnish phone number, a Finnish bank card, a Finnish bank account and an email address.
MobilePay is available in English, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish.
Made in the Nordics, with love for making things very, very easy.
MobilePay is great when it is working, it is easy to make a cardless payment and transfer money. That being said, it struggles with limitations and difficulties. Often it is hard or impossible to establish a connection to the payment terminal, even if the phone disovers it. MobilePay is compatible with payment terminals that I can find only in K- and S-shops in Finland and it exists only in a few countries.
Quite useful service in general. Starting from some point, "Add card" functionality is broken: displays error message about "install Google Chrome". I can't understand why payments app tries to dictate me what browser to install. Why does it care about my browser at all? Follow up: Things got worse after some time. Now, just to install and start using the app it requires one to install chrome-compatible browser. Completely ridiculous.
Just not convenient any more and that was the whole point. The setup process has gotten difficult and payments fail more and more often.
Great app! Would love to be able to put in custom cards with QR / barcodes. It's the only think keeping me from making a switch from google wallet!
