They monetized Heroes of Might and Magic. Yay. I find it hard to love a game that wants you to pay or grind your life away in order to play, but I can't hate on them for it either. However, the longer I play, the more I dislike it. The stronger my army gets, the longer it takes for them to recharge between battles. There's no place to train up low level Heroes other than Arena, but if I'm doing well, I don't want to chance losing and going down in rank. I feel like I'm playing less = less fun.
this game could be so much more fun if the ads weren't so out of control. You shouldn't need to watch an ad to refresh your troops you've collected. the ads should only be for doubling rewards or getting a reward in the shop. The amount of time I waste waiting for annoying ads to end, sometimes ads that kick you out of the game is ridiculous. After it kicks you out you're forced to watch ads again. Just let us play the game, I don't want to waste 20 minutes on ads for 10 minutes of gameplay.
This game started out exactly as I was looking for - a great take on HOMM. I also don't mind spending a bit of money to speed up chests. My complaint is that I will be moving through a level and then reach a monster that is disproportionately strong. It stops my progress completely, with no real way to advance through that level. Events are the same way: some are great fun all the way through, others start off immediately too strong and you wait days for a new one with nothing to do.
Serious pay to win game! Super fun and reminiscent of Heroes of might and magic. But the greed in this game is out of this world. Hard to even progress early in the game because of the need for resources that are super scarce unless you buy them. It will be the reason I quit playing long term. I dont mind supporting a game but its setup to open your wallet infinitely. Edit: up to $199.99 in game purchase for a mediocre and temporary upgrade in troops is absolutely insane!!!!!!! DO BETTER!GREEDY!
