Confusing connections. Easier to set everything up on a PC or at minimum a tablet as there are so many options. Yet the actual selection of services is extremely limited. No OneDrive, no Dropbox, No Box, No Apple. There are many cloud providers out there so why so few of the big ones represented - my Canon scanner supports them so why not my camera?
So frustrating. I open the app click sign in then it ask to register so I do and it only offeres a PC connection help.....I want to connect with my phone. So I hit next and it goes back to the first page. Sign in or sign up. The app is stuck on a loop that never ends. I literally switch from iPhone to android because it wasn't connecting to iPhone AT ALL!!!
My camera shows up as a device but it won't connect to my phone or to anything. The devices are not really communicating. It keeps trying to transfer 899 images...of what?....to...where? with no option to select images. This is impossible, time wise, and would kill my battery fast. . I had to cancel the whole operation repeatedly. I really don't understand what is going on here. No transition whatsoever from the old process to the new. This really really sucks.
This app sucks. Doesn't transfer photos like it should, fails everytime you try to transfer anything to a third party app like Google and now they took away the storage. Canon, people pay thousands of dollars for your camera equipment - how come none of your software for your products ever works properly??? Or efficiently? And why can't i import RAW photos?
