I do like some card art and the fight system. Just have a lot of things I don't like. 1: Who pays 9 to 30 dollars for every worthwhile in-app purchase? 2: There's no storyline, just fighting with cards and a few lines of dialogue per area. 3: I liked how healer looked, so I chose her, but it seems the enchanter is the only useful person to have picked as who I want to be? Maybe separate abilities from what person you'll permanently look like and explain what the abilities do.
I'm about to uninstall this game and I've had it for a while now. The campaign is so easy and there's only two worlds you will beat it in like a day. Other than that there's nothing new to do or get. Once you complete the game, you just repeat the same thing and it's boring and doesn't do anything. You just research card combos and that takes forever. I don't know why i kept it this long. Great potential but the developers just gave up and quit.
I'd like to ask if the game is as grindy as the last iteration, as I spent hundreds of hours in the last game and the only way to make any meaningful progress was to spend money. I love this game I just hope its less grindy, and you guys maybe update it here and there please? if the progression is fixed then people probably will want more content.
Would be a lot more fun if you could continue combining cards "in game" rather than perform research, like you do in the tutorial battle. Unfortunately the research mechanic of the game just turns it into another "idle game" where you're waiting for hours to unlock a card. Tutorial battle leads you to believe you could just combine cards mid-battle, and it would have been a much more fun game if that were the case.
