lots of stuff bolted on. No real gameplay - you just go to enemies & tank their hits until they die or you do. you don't really need money to get ahead, but since there's no strategy or tactics, there's nowhere to go. It DOES nail the satisfaction of turning enemies that used to torment you into a kind of afterthought that you kill by walking thru them on your way to your real goal. the mechanic of dino companions is interesting, but not enough. ads are bugged too so sometimes the game restarts
This is also really a 3.5-ish. Fun game. The ads are so broken. Half of them require you to click on them to be able to exit. Pogo is one, for sure. Same with one AI girlfriend slop ad. Honestly I'd be willing to spend $4-5 since I do the Google surveys, but $7 a month is insanity for a game that I can't see myself playing regularly in a few months. Could have had $5, but instead you get $0
Starts alright. Ads get kinda heavy. even paid for add remover. get less, but still a few in game pop ups. But tbh what really bothered me is ur always able to watch a video to upgrade ur eggs well i got a really good epic pull, but it asked me for in-game currency instead of an add. meaning the more end game you get, the more ull need to pay... further more just got yo chapter 2 which takes a bit and it makes u buy a whole new egg catcher... the fact I bought it and can't even use it later...
downgrading to one star. cash grab after you get into mid game. the high tier squad dinos are locked behind a paywall. you can't roll them. even if you did it would take forever to upgrade them. also you can't close out the ads. after they're done playing, you're just stuck in the ad menu. it doesn't jump back to the game and you can't close it out. it doesn't even register that you watched the ad.
