【Story】
----------------------------------
On a tiny side street in a nameless little neighborhood of not quite modern Tokyo sits a small, unremarkable Japanese eatery.
Above its weather-beaten door an old, faded sign reads:
Restaurant Sakura
Though long since out of vogue, here in Japan a "restaurant" is an eatery specializing in Western-style fusion food. Back before the era of flashy chain restaurants and snazzy bistros, the humble restaurant had its heyday.
Now, well, Restaurant Sakura has seen better days. The taciturn old chef who ran this local fixture passed away the year before last.
His kindly wife was about to close up shop for good when the couple's bright-eyed granddaughter stepped forward.
With a heart full of determination, she swore to keep the place running and ensure her dear grandpa's recipes live on.
Now, the pair are putting a new coat of paint on the place and getting ready for a grand reopening.
Let's take a peek inside, and see how they're doing.
While we're at it, maybe we should lend a hand.
They sure look like they could use the help!

It's free, so it won't cost you a dime!
Cute game which I installed because it doesn't require wifi BUT TOO MANY ADS! There's a constant banner ad and then pop up ads which there is no way to exit from. It literally took me completely out of the game to install it which I am NOT doing! UNACCEPTABLE! Then it's constantly bothering you to watch ads on the tv claiming that the character needs to improve its energy. Then the "stories" it wants you to go through and read for all the customers! 🤦 Pointless and stupid.
I loved Hungry Hearts Diner, so I thought this one would be great. It's Not. the concept is all the same the food is the same. it would be enjoyable if it didn't glitch out so bad it's unplayable. You can't cook anything before an ad loads, while the TV is playing or before the phone rings. and the buffer time where you can't cook is so long. The frustration isn't worth it.
I love how they can force ads so fast. Honestly, it's a cute game in theory. However, even if you do not willingly do a TV ad, the game will literally force it on you. I get this makes it free... I am just tired of it breaking gameplay. If you are going to pay for no ads or don't care about it then... have fun? I spent just 15 minutes, and the TV went off twice, and Grandma gave me a forced break twice. And I just started.
Beautiful storylines that are very relatable. I didn't think I would like the original, when I first came across it. But I loved the story, and was so happy to see a sequel. It's a simple game, an idle game, but not the kind that "forces" you to pay to make progress. There's no constant upsell, it's a simple and pure game. A true gem of mobile gaming.
