I have to delete and reinstall the app very often to get it to work. It is very inconvenient to make a client wait an extra 10 minutes after their appointment to pay. I also have to reconnect my Booksy card readers Bluetooth connection almost every time I try to use it. I've been using booksy for about 2 months now and it is very inconvenient. I used Squire for 2 years before this and didn't have half as many problems as I've had in these 2 months with Booksy.
I am rescinding , what was a five star review. i was using books on my tablet and it was a version similar to the one on my cell phone , which worked flawlessly , and then they pushed an update that changed it to the version that they have on their website. That's the version they tell me "They have to use on tablets", because of some aspect ratio. Compared to the cell phone version , it's basically unusable. It glitches far too often , and my card reader won't stay connected. Trash.
They will charge you in every way possible and hold back clients from seeing your page unless you use boost which is an extra charge. People will book and you won't get any notification. This booking app is not it. I used this app for a year and they charged me twice a month for the entire year wouldn't refund me for double paying even though they can clearly see I only use one account.
Update after using for awhile! I absolutely love Booksy, my only thing I would want added/fixed, is being able to set a max number of bookings for a day. Because I may be open the entire day but I don't want to be jammed the entire day either. I work with dogs/cats rodents and reptiles, and would love to be able to set a max of 2-4 people a day without having to jump through hurdles! Still a good app though!
