Kind of scammy. Easy to play, pretty fun, but the events all require money. Not only that, but they turn off events one day early, so you can't complete them even after paying. I'm pretty sure they are disguising boosted bots as players, unless there are a bunch of people paying hundreds of dollars a week on it, which I find doubtful. If you just want an easy game to waste time, this is good. If you want to invest money into an experience and get more out of a game, I say pass on this one.
As with most games of this style of gameplay, the rng when you have to select an upgrade feels like it's actively going against the player, thus making the game less fun and more frustrating the more I play it. Ads half the time will take you to the play store, which for my phone will cause the game to reset, making the ad reward non existent. Edit: Latest update took away the one action you could do, choose between closest enemy or the bosses, now you're forced to always aim at the boss.
the game is fun and has great potential i think the last line event is much better gameplay and should honestly be how the main gameplay loop functions. for the main gameplay the levels ramp up in strength way to fast leaving you completely stuck. I have been stuck on lvl 20/21 for a few days just auto patrolling trying to get resources to be strong enough to play. thats not very fun.
They never should've let yall back into the playstore. It was bad enough being so rng already, but changing things up, and breaking others at same time is even worse. So now my normal gear isn't applying in Last Line, IE Himori reflect from energy core, while you make it buggy so she knocks meteor fragments so far off screen, you time out waiting off them to fall? And all this is after you deliver left all your players in the dark for weeks, wo a word what was going on? Yea, Id avoid this one.
