Pretty fun... I wish there was a better save game option to save progress at different points in the game. I'm not sure if I made it to THE END or if there are more endings? After getting all the parts for the car, I was ambushed by several heavy dudes with grenades at the car. I wasn't prepared and didn't have with enough ammo in my inventory. Then th game ends without the possibility of regenerating. (as happened previously when killed earlier in the game) I don't feel like starting over.
Amazing game, Just needs more story. Like after you fix up your vehicle and kill all the guardians. you advance to a newer map and have a different objective. Or if you die against the guardians at tge end, you start a different character with a different objective. although I've heard that they haven't been active for a long time. I would still recommend. May be difficult if you haven't played and old rpg games before 2009 like Pokemon on the DS or Fallout 1&2. would still recommend to try out.
Good little game for the price. Reminds me of Fallout 1 and 2. I finished it in an afternoon. Hoping for a sequel. For those complaining about end game difficulty, grind the beasts for exp and the green wandering bad guys for exp and stuff to sell. Gain rifle proficiency with the Winchester, and visit the SW corner of the map. 2 bad guys there with heavy armor and AKs. Remington 700s and more heavy armor can be found in guard camps.
I liked the game and the challenge it brought but the limits made it frustrating. Trading was so restricted as I collected so much but nothing worth trading to help me. Ending was poor in comparison to effort put in. Games like this have such promise and convert me to its style but the execution of this one left a lot of holes that edited its experience. More actual story would be good too and general interactions that didn't involve violence specifically
