It's like Advanced Wars and "Darkest Dungeon" turn based game. Very boring for free players because you're going to use the same heroes for a really long time before getting enough to summon your next new hero. I didn't reach the part where you upgrade your heroes, gear, and skill upgrades or skill tree. Extremely slow paced game. Difficulty goes up really fast. Enemy damage increases fast. My heroes usually end with half or less health. Usually 1 to 2 hero die often.
This game is P2P, while you can advance without it it's slow as can be. You advance levels with coins, or by destroying the few low end heroes, it's way too rare to get summons and near impossible to get advanced ones. I'm about to uninstall. I do like that they update the game often, but it's too hard and takes too long to be worthy of playing. Edit to respond, fix it and I'll edit the review. The game is fun with a diverse cast of characters, each featuring unique attributes that add depth to gameplay. However, progression is a slow grind, requiring a significant time investment (this is not a play 30 minutes a day game). The extremely low drop rates, gold cost to remove equipment, and 12-15 minute phantom runs (At auto x2) are frustrating to say the least. While the core gameplay remains enjoyable, there are better games out there that do not require huge cash and time
Pay to grind is all that sums up this game. Gold is used for almost everything and you get very little out of it. A million sounds like a lot but in essence it's pennies. The constant pop up of buy this, buy that is a constant in your face pain. Even the advancement is slowed but to constantly upgrading equipment and characters...actual skills are a nightmare especially if you have a legendary.
