This game introduces drag and drop card play in addition to touch and go. The ads USED to be minimum, but they recently made a change making it nearly impossible to play. The ad comes on, but doesn't go away. If you touch the screen at all, it takes you to your phone's store to download the ad app. Very frustrating. I used to love the game, but now I don't want to sit here for a minute or more with no timer, no bottom line marking the ad's progress, and not having a clue when I'll finally be able to access the game. The ads are just still pics with no escape.
Before downloading this app, I had never played gin rummy. So I am using it as a training tool. I find the discrete levels of AI ability most helpful. The players are tuned to different strategies, and they give the game real-life flavor. Once I surpass a 50% win rate at a given level, I go on to the next. As far as the ads are concerned, they seem to be of average frequency and duration compared to similar free game apps. I appreciate the compact size of the code.
This is a nice game. I wish you could play 3 or 4 people. The game behaves very good. I did get an app crash but if you reinstall it, the progress is saved & can be restored. The crash seems to happen when a game ends & does it if you go to menu, or choose another player before the ad loads. Give it a few seconds to see if an ad launches. If not, you can make changes with no crashes.
Easy to play, not confusing, instructions easy to find and understand. Prompts given, sort option, yes, I like it. Also it doesn't annoy with all the ads after every hand. Also the cards dealt don't appear to be pre-sorted into losing or winning hands which is a bonus for me. It feels like I'm playing real cards. Thank you for providing this game !!
