1) extremely limited functionality to get you to subscribe 2) there's a subscription fee. I'll gladly pay $80 once to purchase all the content, but every year? When nothing major is changing about human anatomy? Makes me miss the days of buying a program on a CD and using it as much as you want because you owned it. y'all can subscribe to kissing my bulbospongiosus.
The overall experience is good. I enjoy getting to show clients a more I depth view of theor muscle as we work through their mobility and pain pains. However I wish there was a way to pinch and pull ( zoom in and out ) in the anatomy sections because some of the mucles get cut off. Or have a free roam option where you can look at the whole body.
Great videos, i don't think that there is another app out there that compares. I love that they collaborated with anatomy trains, and they really have the movement/kinesiology game on lock. That being said, the stationary muscular skeleton is not as good as essential anatomy 5. Would love to be able to drag the skeleton to rotate instead of just doing quarter turns.
This app has unfortunately fallen into the same trap as many others in the modern marketplace: it is effectively useless for the average user. The core issue is the aggressive paywall. Almost every piece of meaningful information or basic utility is locked away. It’s a "bait and switch" experience-you’re lured in by the promise of a tool, only to find out you’ve actually just downloaded a digital storefront for a subscription service.
