Overall, it's one of the better single player tower defense games in the play store. Extremely challenging. But, the biggest problem I have with it, is the part where one of the story characters pops up on the screen and says, "there are too many enemies, we must retreat immediately". Tbh, it pisses me off quite a bit. Since when do video games encourage ppl to tuck tail and run? I'd rather get swamped, and lose outright, than to forfeit. Also never any updates. Ever.
A true tower defense game! You build and upgrade various towers to destroy enemies coming for your castle. Ads are optional for bonus rewards and you can complete the game without having to pay or watch ads! The best part is that there is a storyline. It needs a little work and a LOT of grammatical corrections in the dialogue, but it was engaging enough to keep my interest and I wanted to complete the next level to find out what happens. THIS is what game apps should be like!
Game's pretty alright. Gameplay loop standard for a TD. The predatory cash shop is standard for mobile games. Game looks nice and feels good to play. Game has unusually high variation of customization when it comes to different towers and upgrades. I was surprised how early I hit the pay wall. Within the first hour I was mostly locked from progression, relying heavily on daily rewards or pay to win at that point. Could fix this easily with a free respec option since you can brick your file.
It is challenging and fun. Can't get past level 35. But up to there, it's fun. I just dropped a star because half the time, ads do not load when doubling rewards. *edit*: just dropped another star because months. later I beat all the levels and now play only the generated levels. still upset that NOW, 2/3 of the time I do not get my rewards from watching advertising.*edit* They fixed the advertisement problem so I added 2 stars. still a fun game. also be nice if I could purchase essence.
