Great crossword app, but I'm changing my review. Unfortunately, the dev ramped up the ads to a ridiculous level.There seems to be at least one ad per level, often two. It also offers to unlock a puzzle if you watch an ad. I've had instances where it has force shown me an ad, then offered an unlock for an ad, and opened yet a third ad before allowing me to view the second one. It also does not recognize previous purchases across devices. I've bought "no ads" and "double coins" 3 or 4 times now
Having this app for over a year now, I can say that it's subpar. I've done most of the "world's biggest" section, the puzzles reuse the same 30-40 words. I'll play one then open another and the same words will be in the next puzzle. I don't use my coins, the puzzles aren't difficult enough to need them with the same basic af vocabulary. Now that ads have gotten out of hand I'm done. If I have to watch ads for every screen transition I'd prefer puzzles that take longer than 2 minutes to finish.
1. The game is really to-the-point, smart and well arranged. The Puzzles are very insightful and interesting to make your muscle memory strong.(1 star given) 2. The game contains variety of Puzzles. You can play crossword, fact checks, vocabulary training types, cryptograms etc. as well as solve zig-saw Puzzles.(1 star given) 3. You can play offline also and gives daily free Puzzles in online mode.(1 star given) 4. Too much annoying ads.(1 star deducted) 5. Poor UI.(1 star deducted)
The game is good and I enjoy the different modes of word puzzles included. But the interstitial adverts are just *way* too much. I played through the entire World's Largest Picross and never had this many adds play. And they're not just when you complete a level or unlock, you get forced ads play when you return to the main menu to chose a different game mode. Good game. Ruined by too many ads
