This could be a great game. However, there are a lot of issues with this game. When they do a update it seems like something on the game won't work. It's been a year and the castle defense event still won't work for our alliance. Heros crush won't let you collect rewards after completing.. The new update alliance challenge is not opening up, and the wisdom fountain is not working. But hey they improved the graphics.
This game is a money suck game. If you want to advance or strengthen your players, you pretty much have to commit to spending some $$$. The game play for the battles is enjoyable, but there are far too many moving parts and things to "power up" in order to play effectively. Alliance is a huge part of the game, and yet no one participates in the alliance part - again squashing any advancement. Promising premise, just too much going on and too $$$.
Currently its upsetting to see that the developers have spent a lot of time beautifying the game and less time attending to the in-game issues. For example: game glitches, server lag, in-game quests defects, expanding Hero Exchange shards, either reset or increase Extreme challenge after lev. 150, enabling 5* weapons exchange, remove battle protection during strongest Lord event. Spending $100 to purchase one new hero makes me poor. The customer support is also hopeless.
I think the game has great potential: playing a strong story line with world famous heroes/characters is amazing. Visual elements are used very well. Considering that the game is still new, community is not toxic at all. The game has huge depth and keeps you busy with various mini games and branches which are quite rewarding. The only downside is, game store. Prices are quite high and even if you want to it would be quite difficult to afford anything. Hopefully developer will build up on it!
