The paid version is worth it. Don't bother with the free version. That is so overrun with ads, it defeats the purpose. But once I paid for the ads to go away, I began to find benefit in the app and am glad I gave it a chance. I love that the affirmations are biblically rooted and references are always given so I can compare them to the actual verse(s). The journaling reminders and prompts are also helpful.
I can't get anywhere on the app because it makes you create an affirmation, and that page never goes away, I couldn't even tell you what's beyond the homepage. I thought there were ready made affirmations but that's not the case. I put one in, and expected to move on to expand the Scripture that is there, but all I could do is make affirmations...the page never goes away and is covering the content. I'm assuming it stays that way until I pay to get further into the app. Downright extortion.
The idea for the app is great but the execution is GARBAGE! When I click one point, there is a loud video ad before I get to the next page. Select something else on the page and another video ad. And you cannot exit from them! Makes no sense that I have to watch an ad in between each click!
I came across this app today and already my Heavenly Father is blessing me through it. I decided to go ahead and get the premium. There is only one thing this app needs and that is to be able to use different color fonts and having the capability to highlight and underline certain words in a verse. Having this feature would be valuable for sharing verses and images with others. Please add color fonts!
