Well worth the purchase! The game is very flexible and let's you really mold the story to your liking. You can be a brave hero, a cunning devil, a servant of the divine, a pursuer of caos or peace—you can take over an empire! Some endings are hard to get, but it is really fun to get them all. Ther are so many choices that each playthrough can have dramatically different outcomes. And best of all, it's fun to collect all the achievements.
Fox Spirit is very well-written and an enjoyable experience to play through. I definitely feel that it has replay value, wanting to uncover all the mysteries you passed up to reach your previous ending. The only con to this book is it feels like the writer is holding your hand everytime you make a decision. You're reminded ahead of time of the implications your choices have, which seemed to pull me out of the fantasy world each time. However, I still think it's well worth the read!
The story is great, enveloping and complex, but the reason I say 3 stars is because the constant stat checking is frustrating!! I cant make a single decision without it blowing up in my face cause I didnt choose the right one. At that point it isnt even an interactive story anymore.. theres no freedom! So if you do decide to buy it or play the free trial, make a character clear as day and STICK WITH IT. Otherwise you'll be as frustrated as I am..
Amazing, I adored it. It is super entertaining, the story just blended it in perfectly. I have some things I recamend that could(Hopefully) be added.1# there could be art that shows whats happening based off your choice. Like on the qustion of what is your fur color. It could show the color you choose.2# If you manage to get the star ball it could show what happens next based on your diseions, and if you died, and stuff life that. But overall this is a great app to get.
