The writing and world building is good. I just have a problem with how stats and choices are handled. Some stats can change far too often to the point where they feel far too unstable, and choices often aren't very clear on what they test or how they'll work out. Even after playing a lot, I still have to do a lot of guesswork and trail and error. Also, choices often seem to affect stats in ways that don't necessarily follow. It's quite frustrating
The characters are so real. The plot twists are just- Wow. Everything about this novel is immersive and spectacular. Creme de la Creme is one of my favorites out of the many Hosted and CoG games I've played through. Every choice feels natural, leading to a satisfying ending that puts a close to the story at just the right time (though if it could, I'd never want it to end). :)
I loved the game! It was really challenging at times, especially for the ending I wanted (darn you Rosario!), and I replayed it a few times to get my desired ending. I'm going back to work on other characters endings now, I'm excited, but I love Rosario most...the only thing that irked me was the lack of save files. I love those in other choice of games, so thats really the only thing I'd recommend. Other than that, great game, buy it!
I played this game several years ago and absolutely loved it. Choice of Games really makes the best games, and this one has something for everybody. A good mystery and storyline and well-written characters with a nice balance of romance too. I love being able to make choices in the game and see how they affect your stats, your relationships with fellow characters, and the like. This isn't any Episode-like 2-option same-old-romance-story game, this is something effortful and I highly recommend :)
