"Posthuman: Guardians vs PSION" is an interactive superhero novel by Evan J. Peterson, author of "Drag Star!," where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based, 300,000 words and hundreds of choices, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
Decades ago, legendary hero Adam Atom created the Guardians: an elite force of posthumans to protect the world from those who use their powers for harm. In response, PSION—the Posthuman Supremacy International Organized Network—sprang up. The United Nations calls them terrorists; they call themselves a liberation army protecting posthumans from human persecution.
Now PSION is hatching their most ambitious plan yet—and it's up to you and your fellow Guardians to stop them. Together with your team—super-genius Pi, teleporter Taikonaut, elementalist Moxie, healer Gilead, brilliant fighter Vogue, and Basilica (who can turn herself 20-feet tall and turn her skin to stone)—you'll travel to the moon, Mars, and all over the earth to try to unravel their plots. well I can't say am disappointed cause I have been expecting something new from you guys but what i expect it something more actionable that causes adrenaline to rush through the reader... like tapping insights from fast and furious and some of Tom Cruise movies to give us an action game like it's killing time... until then am giving 4 star not because the game is bad but because it gives no shooting stuff
a bit short but fun ride. Can't wait for part 2.
Played Through twice. Regret spending 5 dollars. It's a rushed sequel bait - though it at least does have a (poor) ending. You are expecting a choice between 2 or 3 factions with some complexity or depth? Nope. Shallow and concerned with all the wrong things. Reads like head cannon, cliche, & fanfic hybrid. Characters for "inclusion" instead of organically diverse characters. Railroading. Things happen around the useless mc. Starts building up before swiftly sputtering to a stop and imploding.
I personally did not like posthuman as I do enjoy most of choice of games stories I believe this one is bloated your choices don't feel impactful and the characters are bland and I personally believe it's not worth anybody's time playing it
