Easily the best Choice Of Games ever published, I don't think I have enough praise. Firstly, the extremely logistical chapter is amazing, the replayability is off the charts, and it took me a few irl years to fully master it (I think, I might be a bit off still). Secondly, the Aristotlelian magic system is amazing, It's my favorite magic system I've ever come across and I've started using a slightly modified version for all my TTRPGs. Whatever price you can buy this title at, it's a steal.
Was kind of disappointed that there would be a sequel to be honest, now I've gotta wait for that for the story to conclude but eh, I can wait. Regardless, I loved the story to the end. The world is interesting if a bit hard to understand at first, the characters are great, the plot kept me interested the whole time, and it seems there's plenty of choices to try out. Which I will, gotta get that perfect ending after all.
This game was amazing. Every choice felt like it mattered and like I actually had control over the story. It was also well written and entertaining. Only thing I didn't understand was what caused either a runaway helot or noble to join you. I tried a few times and that always seemed random. I look forward to the next one! Does anyone know when it's supposed to come out?
This choose your own adventure is good, I suppose. It's very railroaded-- meaning you'll get the same ending. If you don't, then my three playthroughs have just been very similar. It's an interesting concept and a game nice to play to pass the time. But if you're more focused on a choose your own adventure with more personal choices, I recommend ones like Fallen Hero: Rebirth and the Sun and Moon trilogy.
