This game is good, I like the art style of the characters and the enemies and the building structures aren't bad too. The only problems I find with this is game is that for some odd reason no matter how much you upgrade some characters it feels like there's a huge chance of them dealing no damage or barely any to the hostiles. I've had to constantly watch advertisements just for my characters to die over and over again. The healing system takes too long having to wait an hour or 40 minutes.
Really good game with an old school RPG feel. The biggest problem I have with it is that it seems repetitive. There is a rebirth system where enemies get stronger on restarting the campaign. You keep her levels and equipment, as well as building upgrades, but everything else is reset. But then you go through the exact same "storyline," including side quests meant to teach game mechanics. Changing the flow of each rebirth would make the game more fun. Still, it has been a very fun game to play.
So much potential here and the monetization is super minimal. Progression definitely slows at a certain point. Also I have no idea what builds to use but that's my own problem lol. My major complaint is the arena is severely lacking. The trials should reset and get more difficult with each playthrough The map is small once you reach a certain point but it seems like the dev team plans on expanding that (I hope!) At it's core it's a great game though and I hope they keep building it
What an unpleasant surprise. Vampire Origins will always be my favorite, but this new game just isn't for me. It feels like another generic base-builder: collect resources, upgrade buildings, wait for timers, then repeat. I'm also not a fan of "tap this, tap that" gameplay—it never feels engaging, just repetitive. It seems designed to push spending over fun, and the turn-based combat wasn't enough to keep me interested. Not my style at all.
