Editing to add: Loved the game enough that I paid to have no ads. After a recent update with special game versions (that I don't even want to play), I'm back to having ads even though I paid not to!! original review: Love the game, uninstalling because of ads. I thought it was annoying when I couldn't mute the ads, but I dealt with it. But now ads are showing men in bed together?!! Sad to uninstall since I've had it on my phone for years and play it often.
I've been playing this game since middle school. I turned 24 this year. the sheer amount of ads make this unplayable. there's a shuffling of cards that all require you to watch an ad to receive. but wait, don't try and press the x so you don't pick any of the cards and just want to play the game it'll send you to another ad. there used to be an ad if you lost and the standard banner. ever since the progressive sponsorship this game has gone exponentially downhill. it's a shame. I truly loved it.
they ruined this game with ads and turned it from a simple classic into a capitalistic hellscape.... save your childhood and don't download it. If they offered this game like it was from the beginning as a one time buy for $5 it would be the best $5 spent in the world....but now even if you spend $2 to remove ads (for 30 days) it will still force you to watch ads. return it back to the perfect cube cruncher that it was 😭
I enjoy the game except for two glitches I encounter each week with the daily rewards puzzle. Firstly, there is no way to exit from the screen on Day 8 to get back to the main screen. An X at the bottom would take care of that. Secondly, the indication of a new weekly start seems off. It always skips a day, so I have never gotten a "perfect" week. This too is easily fixed if the puzzle hits a new day either at midnight of the player's time or resets as the new day at whatever time they play it.
