It's a nice slow game, but that's not a great thing. As the cost to expand is very high. Unless you buy gems. It makes it painfully slow to expand. Even building troops is a major task.As you can't build , but three at a time. Other than these factors , it is a fun game and has an interesting storyline.
The game itself is exceptionally good. The ability to ftp is there when you understand the game mechanics, which is not easy in the beginning. I am willing to spend $ on a good game that doesn't push pay to play. The drop to 3 star is the unequal in store discounts. They are generated to random players based on what they spend. Some players have not received discounts in years. Ads are pretty minimal. But I know the calculated ploy to milk more $ from players is important to many.
Enjoyable but it isn't pulling me back to it. I've been playing for over a week but don't have a lot of things unlocked yet so maybe the gameplay gets more involved, for now it's just something to do when I have a few minutes here and there. Once the maintenance is done you run out of supplies quickly and have to wait to do anything else. A mini game or puzzles to do in the meantime would be nice so I'm not drawn to play something else while waiting.
I have enjoyed this game daily for a couple of years now. However, all of a sudden, today, it will not function using WiFi. The app works fine if I toggle off the WiFi and use data, so it is NOT my device. My other apps work just fine. My WiFi is working just fine. It is NOT my WiFi. I see a couple of reviews here dated in the past couple of months where someone is having the same problem, and your answer is to contact support. How about instead, just state what the remedy is, please!!!
