A great app and product overall. Customer support is stellar also. I do occasionally get an alert that the food was eaten with a timestamp a few minutes before it was dispensed and sometimes messages are very delayed. Rebooting the device requires both unplugging and removing the batteries. A reboot button in the app would be nice. It would also be nice if there was a way to dispense a meal early without just adding an extra meal. Anyhow, very happy with the product.
extremely glitchy software! trying to set up the device the first time, the software continually takes me back to the beginning to start all over. I have to force quit the app, clear cache, restart the app to get back to the true starting page. it's very frustrating. after 15 or 20 tries I was finally able to get the app set up. All along the way I constantly get "request timed out try again", and I still get it as I try to make any adjustments.
Frustrating usage I love the simplicity of having an automatic feeder but this app sucks. Any time I try to edit my pet's meal plan I get a message saying "Request timed out please try again". Half the time I open the meal plan section my info isn't there and even when I can successfully update the plan or add a new one majority of the time I doesn't show up until I refresh the app a few times.
had to update my review I had to disable the smart feed option, the feeder was thinking my cat had not ate the meal, and didn't dispense more even with no food in bowl, this has been an issue for a while now. The screen always shows "Zeroing" out, even if I just zeroed it out. And despite being cloud based no smart home features like Home Assistant, Alexa, Google Home.
