With the Revel™ app from Pearson, you can read, practice, and study anytime and anywhere—and set notifications so you never miss a due date again.
The Revel™ app lets you access your interactive course materials on your tablet or mobile phone, offline and online. Your progress automatically syncs across all devices (including your laptop or desktop computer), so you can learn as you move throughout your day—on the train, on the bus, or whenever you have a moment—without breaking stride.
Check out some of the ways the Revel app lets you learn where you want to, when you want to.
- Download course materials to your devices and read, practice, and study even when you're offline
- Listen and learn as you go with full audio of your text (available for most courses)
- Complete assigned quizzes on your device to prep for class whenever you have a moment
- Set your own reminders and notifications so you never miss a deadline again
- Highlight key passages and take notes at your convenience
This is a good resource but at the same time, it's one of the most buggy apps I've ever used. The app randomly stops responding after I rotate the screen, the audio randomly pauses, assignments and chapters that are assigned give me alerts that they're not assigned, quizzes say they can't be loaded when everything else can, the app keeps on triggering alerts that its not responding even when it is, and then when I hit "close", it says the chapter isn't assigned when it clearly is.
Very buggy and disappointing. If I'm going to pay good money for a digital text book the site and the app shouldn't have so many glitches and issues. At the very least there should be an easy way to report bugs. I can't load my homework on my phone sometimes, the site and app both glitch saying I don't have assigned work (when I definitely do.) The app crashes every time I open it. I'm really sick of it.
gives you the option to create "notes" from what you highlight in a given text, then when you go to generate a pdf of your notes, it cuts off information to put copyright notices and other BS. If i'd known this would happen, id have hand written as I went. Notes are also completely out of contextual order, meaning it switches the order of your notes too so if you highlight multiple things in a paragraph none of it will make any sense from one sentence to the next. By far the worst app ever made
This is one of the least accessible applications/websites I have come across so far. The website does not allow for changing the font (it is in a serif font which makes it difficult to read), you cannot change the color scheme to allow for dark mode, and you cannot change paragraph width. The app occasionally has text that does not align with the TTS. The app glitches sometimes and forces me to the end of the book, where I cannot access the TOC. Almost out of characters - please fix these things
