beat the game on PC, saw that it was here, bought it again, beat it again. It still holds up, even if youve already beaten it. Excellent port. I haven't encountered any bugs yet. The story is fun, the gameplay is fun (even when there is no more progression to be made), the characters are fun, the hats are fun, and the whole game is fun. Additional points for being battery efficient. TL;DR, the game is smooth, fun, and doesn't need much battery. 10/10, I bought it again.
A legitimately fantastic sequel to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. The music is nice and I love that its been modernised to feature as a "playlist" in game on the in game phone. the gameplay loop is fun although I do think it gets a tad tedious, especially if you get a few good early runs and end up maxing out your gear and upgrades. Lessens the motivation to keep playing. however, the secrets and fun Easter eggs are a blast and the dialogue remains comical and entertaining! 5/5 stars!
I LOVED the first one and 100% the game in like 2 days. I got invitations to play this one but it was only on PC and as soon as I seen it pop up on here I added it to my wishlist. This is NOTHING like the first game and honestly I feel it's better. I beat the main mission but since it goes on forever I had plenty of side quests to keep me interested in the game, which was my only problem with the first one. I hope to hear about another Turnip Boy game soon!
I love the first game, and am thrilled to play this. but it's unplayable for me. for example controller doesn't work at all, clicking an item in the shop immediately purchases it even though i just want to check it, turnip boy suddenly rolls or shoot once a dialogue ends if I click exactly on their buttons. until these "bugs" are gone, the game is unplayable to me
