My daughter loves dinosaurs and I thought this would be the perfect gift. However both of us are finding it next to impossible to line up the star on the app with the stars on the globe leading to lots of frustration and tears. And now she no longer wants this globe or program. Edit: changed my review to 5 stars after contacting customer service and getting a quick response and help. Now everything works great and my daughter uses the globe all day!
App keeps freezing. The little games are cute but it seems like when it comes to scanning, that's when we freeze. Once we restart it's fine for a little while and then freezes again during one of the adventures so we are constantly restarting. I'm on the fence about keeping this globe BC it's frustrating for a little kid, therefore the parent as well.
There was an issue with the app where it wasn't loading and my son was disappointed but thanks to the excellent customer service as they resolved the issue within their promised time of 24-48 hours. My son is so engaged and he is learning a lot about the dinosaurs. Happy that we came across this brand. One of the good app for kids it engaging for my 5 year old. looking forward to more and extended content for further age groups.
My son has 3 different devices. 2 different tablets (Samsung tab A & a Fire Tablet) and a chromebook. None of them are compatible with this app! So the gift he got from his aunt was a waste of money. He loves dinosaurs & was really excited to play with the globe. To call & find out he can't use the gift is disappointing. They need to do a better job of this being accessible on more devices!
