The app itself works fine. However, Link (Connecto) does not work properly if using a 5th gen iPad air. we are thinking it is because the camera is either in a different position, or a different resolution than the 10+ year old iPad models in the supported devices list. The game behaves as if the magnetic tile spaces are shifted four places to the right.
works well, but if using a newer kindle fire (with camera on the longer side) it works better moving tablet to far left as opposed to right. we also noticed that the letters were not always recognized and thats because the camera cant see as well the way the letterboard is slanted, so I put a little tiny furniture stopper on each side so that the letters didnt still as far forward, works perfectly now.
I love the idea of this, and it's great when it actually works.. but overall this app is complete garbage!!!! Literally EVERY time I open it up the app freezes before I even get to select anything.. or I get to the selection screen and it freezes. Today my son wanted to play it and I restarted the app 6 times and still wasn't able to get into it!! I'm glad I didn't pay full price for the letter tiles that go along with it or I'd be even more mad about the app quality. Debating on selling it.
Been playing with it for over 2 hours believing the twins will greatly benefit from these. Each device you sync you may have to turn off everything ride prior to it working... my only issue is how to teach the kids progress. Update - unable log into the the parent hub app app stated that my devices (phone and Tablet-Samsung S22 ultra) were "not eligible devices to install the app". Cus serv (online) was very nice, asked for a week to find a fix, will update in 6 days.
