Fun & Funny. The dialogue in this game is lol funny. You play along as with 2 friends, (1 detective, 1 cop) and together they go around solving strange mysteries. You won't breeze right through this, you need to collect items, combine some of them to create a new item and figure out what order to go in, in order to solve each case. Achievements are plenty and can be collected often throughout gameplay. I'm completing the last bonus case now they I'll play Darkside Detective 2.
Great! The game is broken up into multiple chapters to solve, instead of one long adventure. The humorous dialogue was entertaining and was the main reason I finished the game. I loved the interactions the detective has with every character along the way. I particularly liked the corny, cheesy, and strange dialogue (a perfect match for my twisted sense of humor. LOL). The puzzles were challenging but I never felt they were impossible to solve. This is a game I will remember a long time from now.
I've been waiting for years for this game to come to mobile phones and it has finally reached Android and I couldn't be happier. Although i have one major complaint related to both this game and the 2nd game that is the game has thick black bars on either side of the game screen. If the developers could add an image of some sort or something just to make the entire game feel full screen to provide an immersive experience, it would be really really awesome.
Very funny, clever games of varying difficulty and length. As is usual for these kind of games, you'll occasionally be baffled by what you're supposed to do, but that's part of the genre. Looking forward to playing the other Darkside Detective games.
