reasonably good game based on it's card game version. a lot of dlc to buy, which isn't awesome, but okay. it doesn't invade your attention about buying it constantly. recent update broke the AI for solo mode, it sometimes freezes and stops playing. no way to get it to restart (e.g. closing the app and returning, choosing to resume the game, does not wake the AI up)
Was 5 stars but now 3 because new version makes game less intuitive and less enjoyable. There were some updates that improved the game but mostly updates that make the gaming experience more frustrating. Still my favorite game though, but hope some things could go back to how they were in the previous version. Very disappointed with this "update".
This game rocks! Fast paced and engaging gameplay! Can't believe I'm just now finding this game. The monetization is very fair. All the DLCs range from $2-5 each and there are a lot of them but they are content unlocks, not boosters or RnG gamba garbage like in most card games. I estimate it would cost about 60 dollars to unlock everything, but that's a ton of expansion content. Your account is shared with Steam account so DLC unlocks are on both. Big thank you to the makers of this game!
I really like the game, just two critiques of the app: 1. Certain animations and sound effects have pretty off timing, ie scrapping cards from the trade row feels like it takes forever, but card synergies happen so fast I can barely process them. 2. It is very annoying that the AI doesn't just attack and end the game if it has enough to win. I often quit out during their last turn because I don't want to sit around for it.
