I absolutely loved this game when I used to play it a while back, when I came back to it after a few years I noticed all my progress was deleted, so I decided to have a fresh restart and man what happened to this game, rewards are much fewer and slow coming to get any kind of team going, they absolutely annihilated the "campaign" PvE aspect of this game with the energy stones 3 every 6 hours? the map was awesome and the rewards too now if you don't have stones you can pay an incremental gem cost
The more I play the more pay to win it is. The troops and the combat is very well done and the art style is great. I know the developers need to make money to support themselves and to make the game better but the pay to win aspect is much to intrusive to progressing in the game after a point without just straight up waiting weeks for the same amount of resources as a $20 pack. I will keep the game and continue to play it with the hope that it changes in some regard or more content is added.
This game is pretty awesome. Gameplay is smooth and it can be quite difficult at times for the right layout. The only thing is, you hit a hard pay wall at higher levels (level 7) you barely make any coin winning battles (12 coins) and 4 hr chest only gives like 30 coins and a unit upgrade is a 1000 for level 5 unit. There is also a hard limit to the amount of coins you can win in a day. You are forced to watch ads for any meaningful reward.
It's a pretty fun, addictive game. However, there is a VERY heavy pay wall. Every upgrade or new unit in this game costs resources to unlock or upgrade, and the resources you can get (even constantly playing) are minimal, it will take weeks to gather enough to use. You can't really strategize or diversify in this game unless you're willing to pay a lot of your real cash. Hopefully they give more earnable resources to players in this game, then I would be happy to review and change my rating.
