About this app
Slay is a simple to learn game of strategy and cunning set in medieval times. The island is divided up between the six players, and you must try to capture your enemies' land and link up your own territories to create larger and stronger ones. You begin capturing land by attacking with your peasants. Once your territories become richer you can combine peasants to make stronger and stronger people (Spearmen, Knights and then Barons) who can kill weaker enemy troops, or knock down their castles. Just be careful that you don't create too many expensive men or the territory will go bankrupt!

It's a really good concept and fun app (5/5) However, a number of issues really drag it down. If you rotate the screen, the app crashes. If you lock your device and unlock it, the app loses where you were. Additionally, if you happen to be holding a newly purchased piece while this happens, you lose the piece and the money. I don't think I would have purchased the game had I known of these issues
Very simple gameplay. This game is great if you want a simple strategy game to distract you for a bit. I almost refunded it when I first loaded it up because it looks both complicated and cheaply made (the sprites seem a bit... simplistic). Don't worry, it isn't either of those things. This game is brilliantly made to be both simple yet complex at higher difficulties. I'd highly recommend it for strategy games. It's good to see a strategy mobile game with no "idle" aspects to it.
Excellent strategy game. Simple rules and no frills graphics mask an absolute gem. Gameplay so addicting that 5 minutes easily turns into an hour. "Just one more map" you'll tell yourself. But one more is never enough. I played this game back in the nineties on PC and was delighted to find it here. Don't miss out. Bonus: No ads or stupid loot boxes.
Until the most recent update, this used to be my favorite game for my phone. A very addictive strategy game with just the right level of challenge and a bunch of levels to choose from. I've been playing it for years. Unfortunately, the graphics on the new update are terrible. It's much harder to see your territories no matter what color scheme you chose. Bring back the original graphics and I'll give it the 5 stars it deserves.
