User Reviews
The app needs a ton of work, like others have said the app isn't fully translated to English so some things will be in Spanish. I haven't been able to access money or anything because Santander Key constantly gets an error, can't register my signature without that working. The support line gives you a number that only provides Spanish support, trying to get online support wants you to have the key setup which I can't do my money is just sitting there. It's terrible
They do their maintenance during business hours which is very bad. The app lags a lot and it's not easy to navigate poor UI/UX, unlike Revolut app where you can have other folders where to allocate funds, on the Santander App it doesn't allow you. Most transfers even as little as €10 takes more than 5 days to send or receive from other banks. It's not 24/7 banking.
The app works fine to check balances, make bizums and transfers. Clicking on pop-up messages leads to nowhere, except a blank screen or error message. Some things can only be accessed via browser and a lot of the additional info and buttons are in Spanish or unavailable in the English version. Also, the automated saving setups in the "cuenta hucha" randomly stop working for weeks on end, wether it is the rounding-up feature, percentage of income or monthly transfers - quite disapointing.
Mostly fine, but two very big negatives: 1. practically impossible to find anything you need in the app if it's not current balance or Bizim 2. if you want to pay on a web page from the same device you have an app on, it will require confirmation, and when you switch to bank app, the web page will lose connection and your confirmation will never proceed. If set correctly you will at least not spend more than expected, but most likely you will not be able to pay at all
