Secure and easy to use. I like that it has biometric and password unlock, as well as a recovery code in case I forget my PW (same as my Mega account). It doesn't have all the extra bells and whistles as NordPass premium which I use mainly, but MegaPass is a good enough backup and alternative that I would recommend it. Also if you're subscribed to Mega storage plan Pro 1 or above, you get MegaPass bundled in so you may as well use it!!!
MEGA recently made it possible to use this app for free for two years. I see that login by using 2FA, passkey and hardware key is missing. Storage of credit cards is missing too. New standards are passkeys and hardware keys, such as YubiKey. Strangely enough, this login method is not supported by both MEGA cloud storage and MEGA Pass. There are many password managers (even free ones) that support passkey, hardware keys and storage of credit card information. There's no reason to use MEGA Pass
Its fine for what it is, and easy enough to use, but lacks a lot of features other password managers have, such as the ability to create tags/folders to organize passwords, creating secure notes, checking and merging duplicates, have more than one URL for an entry, etc. Coming from another password manager feels like a downgrade, specially since this is a paid app and there are better free alternatives.
I'm trying to subscribe, I've added my payment details and Play Store shows as subscribed, but the app still asks me to choose the subscription plan, and when I do - it throws an error saying that I'm already subscribed. Clearing app data or uninstalling doesn't fix the issue. How can I trust you with my passwords, if you can't handle the basics?
