Permission details:
1. Internet permission: Only used to get web suggestions
2. Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): Only used to search through contacts (Completely optional)
3. Phone (CALL_PHONE): Only used for phone call as per user's request (Completely optional).
4. Files (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To search through device files (On Device). App’s core purpose is to search through files and folders across the device’s external storage.
5. QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: To get list of installed apps and shortcuts
6. READ_CALENDAR: To get list of upcoming events. All events are accessed on device in real-time, nothing is stored in the app.
All permissions are used only for searching purposes. No data is shared; everything is stored on device and is completely deleted when app is uninstalled.

edit: this is great but I do have one piece of advice. I think it's kind of redundant prioritize One icon for song search and then another icon just for regular search. because when you click on the regular search feature something pops up that says search song. so it only saves you one click but it occupies a huge chunk of the widget and it makes it harder to reach The part for text search. so I use older version. increasing customizations or maybe prioritizing a different shortcut there?
Always hated how I like the Google search bar widget the way it looks but when you search it doesn't open Chrome So basically it would have me opening two apps just to start browsing the web with a search this app takes that problem away it gives you a much more customizable but pretty much identical Google search bar widget but you can set it to use chrome as the app that opens when you do a search, which is awesome. 5 stars!!!
Love that I can finally search for my apps and the web at the same time with the keyboard pulling up automatically. I don't understand how One UI doesn't have a default auto search when using the app drawer. One minor thing I'd like to point out though is that the keyboard loads faster when you set the search to show up at the bottom. Hopefully they'll change it soon so that it loads equally fast on both scenarios.
I use this app often. However, there's a lot of missing functionality. First, you can only search for an app using the beginning of the application's name. For example, I type in "Files," and I was expecting "My Files," but I had to type "My" in order for it to appear. Also, there's the ability to search on Google, but there's no way to change the search engine used. Lastly, when you type in a URL, it searches for that URL on Google instead of taking you to the site.
