Enjoyed it at first. New update just slows down the game to the point where it's just not fun anymore. At the new cost of exploration, I can only uncover maybe 2-3 squares every 3+ hours. Add in the ever increasingly horrible ad experiences, some of which break the game and require a lengthy reload, and it's just no longer enjoyable for me at all. Pity. Uninstalling.
Nothing screams disengage more than a 90 second advertisement. Edit: that's been fixed, more or less, but now you're getting prompted to make a purchase in game every 8-20 clicks. This dev is hard up for cash and doesnt give a damn about your Immersion. I hung in there with it for a while, but there's better games out there that are less buggy. Uninstaller after 6 months of play.
Better than I expected, despite the completely misleading ads I had seen for it. That's par for the course any more, though. I do like the exploration and discovery aspects, and the story seems solid and believable. Graphics are decent and play is pretty stable. Best of all, it continues to be engaging despite lots of repetitive clicking. Good job on that.
You can tell that the developers don't play their game, and that's usually enough for me to 1 star it. Their in-game purchases are intrusive. Progress is HEAVILY limited by time & effort. Too many factors impede progress & act as an upgrade that'll reset. To top it off, Quality Of Life aids are a necessity, & it does not exist, even as something to buy. Lastly, the land proactively gets in the way of everything. There is no decent work around.
