App constantly signs me out without me knowing so that it forces me to use their free version that's full of ads. I sign back in, it says my app license is now active (yet again), I stop see the ads, then 3-5 days later I go through this nonsense again. It's also difficult to stream anything while the VPN is active, because the up/down speeds are so ridiculously slow, regardless of time of day or VPN location setting. Price is absurd.
Frequently interrupts what I'm doing with requests for ratings! Last update made it more difficult to control when the VPN is on or off. The default is on. When it's on many of the pieces on my home network can't communicate and many websites will block access. Rather than being a background application that just does it's job, it is more intrusive and makes many tasks more difficult. As far as I can tell it has been effective.
$8.99 every month is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Especially when there are other options available for FREE (even without ads). Now it is easily done with ai to make your own VPN app customized to your specific needs & make available for everyone. We have used AVG antivirus for many years on many devices in the past & it worked well. It is so very unfortunate that so many, especially the most recognized companies, lost sight of the intent of the internet to provide FREE access to information & services...
Make sure you actually download the VPN separately and put in the code from the one on your PC if that's how you paid for it. I didn't think it worked even though it said I get 10 devices and was pretty pissed until I realized the one on the virus protection app isn't quite it. I downloaded the separate one, put in my code and it works just like the one on my PC. Great product if you do allot of banking, business or bills on your phone.
