Personally, as a PVE/Draft player in card games, I enjoyed the story mode. The campaign was challenging, but still doable without making a deck. I enjoyed every mission except for Scouting Party (I hate that one lol.) Obtaining cards for decks can seem a little grindy, but it is easily doable by just playing the game and doing the campaign, as it's very generous with decks and card packs. I'm excited about future updates, as they have shown that there will be more cards in the future
This game is the opposite of friendly to new players, and progression is incredibly slow thanks to epic/legendary cards being very hard to obtain. You barely get anything for getting duplicate cards, and being able to make a good deck with a specific faction usually requires cards you will have a hard time getting. Budget decks and the cards you start out with (even after campaign) are okay, but trying to get cards and play factions you barely collected for is pretty much impossible. Grinding
As good as it gets in free to play. No ads, good progress to get new cards. Good change of pace from previous CNC 2 game. I think sometime they make some combo a bit too op, but hopefully they will patch as it goes on. I miss having a lobby chat from previous game even though it was a bit toxic sometimes. Overall very good stategy card game. I like that in this game, you actually place the cards on tiles, its not just cards effect like magic the gathering or others.
A definitive version, some conquest rogue like mode like a mini td could be a feature or a whole other game, keep it up the no ads it's just 5 stars, the grinding 2/3
