Vivomancy can heal or change living things, with bizarre side effects. Blast your enemies with Negation energy, forming permanent clouds of deadly fallout.
As a young scrounger of antiquities, you hope to build your ruined world anew with these rediscovered spells. Now you must decide which of these magics can transform your post-apocalyptic society, and what you'll risk to bring hope and light to your kinsmen.

• With over 30 different endings, and 100 achievements, there will always be another secret to uncover.

An excellent choice for a unique CYOA game. The characters and plot are extremely engaging and I really enjoyed my first playthrough. There are plenty of opportunities to change the plot and customize your story and the various achievements and ends make it hold my attention for replays. I love the games that you all at Choice of Games are releasing, but some of your stories can run expensive, if you release bundles for a slight discount I would buy more. Thanks, and keep up the great work!
The writing is good, but it seems easy to put yourself in an unwinable sutuation. For example, I was told I had no friends or pets even though I've had multiple pets and several friends and the book pretty much just took them away for the part that would kill me. Seems contrived at best. Good writing with glaringly bad design (no chapter save, accidental clicks can advance, etc, randomly losing equipment, pets, and friends then being punished for it). Probably worth 7 bucks in the end.
Choice of Magics is one of the best "Choice of" games I've ever played. The presentation of choices are incredibly varied and often make a lasting impact on the game! I know I am pleasantly surprised every time a choice I make early on has an impact on the later game (oftentimes biting me in the butt!). The replay value is immense! I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the "Choice of" games
As much as I love the author and as much as I love Choice of Games and Hosted Games, I simply found this one to be... Disapointing. The characters and story as well as gameplay are all top tear and had this game been properly finished I believe it could have been one of CoG's best yet! But the game itself is wracked with bugs, continuity errors, and typos and is left with many characters, plot lines, and character and story archs being left unfinished. All in all, while this certainly had the capacity for greatness at its current high price it simply isn't worth buying, it needs to either have the price cut in half or to be rereleased.
