Amazing game! Ever since I saw Markiplier play this I loved it at first sight. I have no complaints. all I have to say is that it's harder than other puzzle games because it's very extensive on remembering what you were supposed to do or where you were supposed to go and I was stuck many times, but ut I'm not complaining. The price is good for the full game too and the demo is actually enjoyable. The DLC and extra level are kind of short but great either way!
I love this game, and I'm so stoked that it got a mobile port! More games need to follow in the steps of CARRION. As of this review, though, there's one major flaw with the app: it does not work in reverse landscape. This means your phone (maybe it's different on a tablet) must be in one orientation. Problem is I've had situations where my phone is much better in reverse landscape (like when attached to my controller). If this is fixed, it's instantly at 5 stars. Game itself is flawless!
I was surprised at how satisfying this game is. The creatures movements are very clean and responsive. They are so responsive that feeling it move through the corridors, and conduits, also aided by the crisp and concise audio is incredibly visceral. There are times when it is quite difficult, but there are numerous ways to strategize each scenario, which keeps each retry fresh and enjoyable. Despite being few loot incentives beyond powerups, I feel that varied strategies make this replayable.
Okay, technically the game is confusing but Carrion is a very monster moving game where you play as a creature I never even heard of and start moving around as this pink ball with many different legs. It looks like it could attack and eat all the civilians which I hate it can't but I do like the fact it manages to maintain my arousal for a horror game. However, I dislike the trial version and think the full version of the game should be for FREE but that's just me yes, not bad not the best...
