Its a fun game, but there are some issues. I have respawns in my inventory, and yet it doesnt give me the option to use them. It ONLY shows that I can respawn if I watch an ad, which is VERY annoying. Also, whenever watching ads to use certain perks, only 1 of 2-3 ads play, as when it gets to the 2nd ad, the ad freezes and doesnt unfreeze EVER. I've had to exit the game MANY times just to get back to playing, because the respawns or whatever perk you want to use, never works by watching ads.
I really want to rate this higher but it has a TERRIBLE bug out that was present for me since the tutorial. Sometimes the game will randomly speed up and it leaves me no time to react before getting an instant game over. This happened 3 times in the tutorial and keeps happening every 2 runs of the game. Only not rating it 1 star because the occasional run is playable, but please fix this it is very annoying knowing every 2nd run will randomly speed up and kill my progress.
12 years after the last time I played & reviewed, & I STILL can't make a purchase to remove ads. Just says "purchase failed" every time. I bought Classic a few months ago so I guess I'm sticking with that one.
I've played this for years and always loved it every play. it always cheers me up, you can't play this game and stay sad. on a side note, there is a recent bug that speeds up the game at random, however, it seems, for me at least, it was isolated to having my phone in power saving mode. I was so relieved knowing it wasn't the end of Willow the Whale for me.
