Three stars because historically, I've never had an issue with this app - I've always been able to log in, see my usage, see trends, pay my bill, etc etc. I don't know if they issued an update for the app recently or what, but I am not able to log in at all now... super frustrating! I'm going to have to find an alternate way to pay my bill - here's hoping the website and/or calling in yields better results...
MTE never fails me. I love the features the app provides. It shows my daily, monthly, and annual usage. It also provides a projected bill, so there's never any guessing. When I have had an outage, it's only been for a few minutes. Never lost electricity during the January 2026 ice storm. We invited friends and family to stay here when they lost theirs. We did this because of the confidence we had in MTE. They're not just an electric company. They're a family type of community.
the support team needs to fix the issue where logging in via the app triggers a request for an email confirmation code; when you switch screens to retrieve the code and return to the app to enter it, the screen resets, preventing you from entering the code and creating an endless loop. Please fix this and track the app's usage metrics.
Since the new update, I'm not able to log into it. So taking off my phone for right now. My password is accepted on their website.
