The Quest is a beautifully hand-drawn open world role playing game with old school grid-based movement and turn based combat.
In the kingdom of Monares trouble is brewing. The governor of Freymore is missing and the island is in tumult. The mages all prophesy a dark shadow looming over the safety of the kingdom. As an Agent of the king, it's your job to find out what is happening and avert any danger.
Choose from five customizable races and an array of skills, weapons, armor and enchantments, and explore a huge world of four cities and a wilderness of mountains, caves, lakes and forests – full of mystery, magic and intriguing challenges. Meet the many inhabitants, each with its own agenda and attitude towards your character. Some will be helpful, some greedy or lascivious or just plain mean. You will have many choices, including some that may place you against the law, along your way to the dramatic ending of your own choosing.

A perfect traditional European Fantasy game from an indie team based in Hungary. You pick from multiple classes but you aren't prevented from using other weapons, unless they are out of your weight class. -For example, you can choose Ranger but still use short swords and shields as a primary weapon and have the bow as a secondary. However you also get to pick your own skills during character creation, which is a nice touch. -Music has that great tavern feel that immerses you right in.
One of the best RPGs on mobile. It's a fully featured first person RPG with no ads, great depth, and lots to explore. It's the one game that pretty much has never been uninstalled from my device. The only slight issue i have is that the game does not support the screen size of the Samsung Ultra phones, so there's a lot of black space on the top and bottom. Having the game use all the screen space would be incredible. But that doesn't take away from how great the game is otherwise.
I'm loving this game. I bought it for android and pc. The gameplay is simple. The quests are simple yet challenging at the sametime. You have to think outside the box a little bit. It's a little overwhelming when you first start especially if you are used to more modern rpgs.The game seems to have a decent following and has some good forums to read and learn how the game works. The world is well laid out. it is small but there are a ton of expansions you can buy.Not sure what those are like yet
I used to play this game on my old ipod touch, id made it pretty far but id lost my save data, and to see this game on android made my day. This is a decent size turn based rpg filled with content, enemy variety, the hand drawn graphics give it a nostalgic 90's look. Theres no ads and theres no stupid monitization. Its well worth the price. One thing that id like to see added in the future though is keyboard and mouse support.
