The Quest - Mithril Horde II is an expansion to The Quest, a beautifully hand-drawn open world role playing game with old school grid-based movement and turn based combat.
After enabling the expansion, you can explore new areas and adventures. However, if you don't have The Quest, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game.
You have successfully defeated the great dragon king Bethlusaa but his spirit lives on and is now lurking in a magical tome. From his sheltering spellbook, he plots to regain power and physical form by possessing the body of Lord Yuz's cousin Yasmine. Your mission is to find the spellbook that shelters Bethlusaa's spirit and exorcise him to the realm of the dead for good while saving Princess Yasmine.
To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Horde II" as your travel destination. It's recommended you reach at least level 75 before taking on the challenges posed by this expansion.

Can't express enough how nice it is to have an old classic grid based game reworked HD, with continual expansions. As with this new expansion, I look forward to seeing more. If you like grid based games and with a lot of different themes to explore, this is the go to series.
Love the games. The series. Wish you'd release more on steam. Love to play this on the big screen cuz play doesn't work on my PC. Don't let this be the only way to play all the content guys! Bought every expansion. Will do the same on steam!!!!
So far only problem is a crash that occurs after telling brother about sewer ghost then taking the shortest route back to sewer. Did not occur if I went all the way around.
Loving it so far, you may seem highly over powered at first but just you wait, I have all these games they don't take up alot of space
